Summary

CometPDF is designed to convert files to PDF locally on your Windows computer. The app does not upload your documents to CometPDF servers.

Files and Documents

Files selected in CometPDF are processed on the local computer. Converted PDFs are saved to the output folder selected by the user, or next to the original file when using right-click conversion.

Data Collection

CometPDF 1.1.0 does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, accounts, cloud sync, or telemetry.

Third-Party Software

When Microsoft Office, Outlook, or LibreOffice are installed, CometPDF may use those local applications to export files to PDF. Those applications remain governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Website Downloads

The CometPDF website may be hosted by third-party infrastructure providers. Standard server logs may be processed by those providers for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
